When Carol Alt went raw and began studying the labels on cosmetic products, she was shocked to learn how many products represented themselves as “natural” or “organic” but actually contained harmful ingredients like chemicals, fragrances and preservatives.

Now you can educate yourself by taking the RAW challenge and putting your favorite skin care products under the microscope.

For a chance to win a free RAW Essentials Face Kit, take a moment and examine the label of one of your favorite skincare products, and if you see an ingredient you don't recognize, look it up. You can use a dictionary, you can Google it, or you can ask the chemistry teacher at the local high school (you might have to take a chemistry course yourself just to understand what you're reading!).
